The enquiry form allows you to add your personal requirements that you would like us to take into account. Southern Yacht Charter offers you and your party a personal service with high standards. We have been involved in the charter business in the Solent area for the past twelve years and are well aware of your needs. The boat “SOUTHPOINT II” is a Bavaria 47, she is excellently equipped throughout and perfect for bareboat or skippered charters, training, team building and corporate charter on the Solent or further afield. The boat is berthed at Swanwick Marina on the Hamble River, with very easy access to the Solent. There is free car parking within the marina alongside the boats and all the modern facilities you would expect including toilets, showers, a restaurant and chandlery. Being just 1 mile along the A27 from junction 8 of the M27 motorway and ¼ mile from Bursledon railway station it makes connections from major cities and surrounding areas easy. The yacht, SOUTHPOINT II, has ample cockpit space with twin wheels, this allows for easy entertaining and comfortable sailing. She is certificated for up to 14 persons on day sails and 12 persons overnight. The Solent, classed as the yachting Mecca of the world, is within minutes reach offering excellent sailing throughout the year with enjoyable ports of call such as the picturesque Beaulieu River, Lymington, Yarmouth, Cowes (the UK sailing capital) with Portsmouth close by. The Solent is also the gateway to the whole of the southern coast and across the channel to the French coastal ports and the Channel Islands.
